What messages actually cost
This is the question that derails most software calls, so here it is upfront.
Every template message you send out is billed by Meta to your own WhatsApp Business account. Meta’s India rate card (July 2026): ₹0.8631 per marketing message, ₹0.115 per utility or authentication message, plus 18% GST. When a customer replies, the conversation that follows is free for 24 hours. aiever adds nothing on top.
SMS
Billed by your DLT-registered SMS provider per message. Use your existing vendor and existing rates.
Sent through your own SMTP or Mailgun account. No per-email charge from us.
Your WhatsApp Business account, your SMS account, your SMTP — all in your own name. If you ever leave, the channels stay with you. That is deliberate.

Is there a contract lock-in?
Plans run monthly or annually. Annual billing carries a discount, but you are not locked into a multi-year term to get a working product.
What do we pay aiever, and what do we pay Meta?
Two separate bills. aiever charges for the application only: a monthly or annual subscription, plus any customisation you ask for. Meta charges you for every template message you send out, billed by Meta to your own WhatsApp Business account. Meta’s India rate card as of July 2026 is ₹0.8631 per marketing message and ₹0.115 per utility or authentication message, plus 18% GST; Meta revises these from time to time. A bulk send of 1,000 marketing messages is therefore about ₹863 plus GST with Meta, and nothing extra with us. We do not sit in the middle and mark it up.
Is every WhatsApp message charged by Meta?
Only the ones you send out as templates — a campaign, a birthday wish, an order update. The moment a customer replies, a 24-hour service window opens: their messages and yours inside it cost nothing, however many go back and forth, and even a utility template sent inside that window is free. It is why answering people — through the shared inbox or the AI chatbot — does not add to your Meta bill.
What does setup include?
Instance provisioning, WhatsApp Business API connection, gateway configuration, importing your existing customer list, loyalty rule configuration and training your team.
Can we start with only WhatsApp and loyalty?
Yes. Modules are toggleable. Switch off what you are not using and the navigation, and the API, hide it entirely.
Can we host it on our own server?
On the Enterprise plan, yes. aiever runs on a standard Laravel and MySQL stack and can be deployed to infrastructure you control.
What if we already have a POS we like?
Keep it. aiever is designed to connect to your existing billing rather than replace it. If it can call a webhook, it can feed aiever.
