General

What exactly is aiever Marketing?

A marketing automation platform for businesses that sell to people in person or online. It handles WhatsApp and SMS campaigns, a loyalty program, vouchers, a unified social inbox, Google review requests and reporting — all built on one customer database fed by your existing billing system.

Do we have to replace our POS or billing software?

No, and we would advise against it. aiever connects to what you already run. Your billing stays exactly where it is and simply posts a copy of each bill to aiever over a webhook.

How long does onboarding take?

Most businesses send their first campaign within a week. The longest single item is WhatsApp Business API approval from Meta, which is outside anyone’s control. Loyalty configuration and customer import usually take a day.

Can we run it standalone, without connecting any billing system?

Yes. Import your customer list from a spreadsheet and you can run campaigns immediately. Connecting billing later adds automatic loyalty, purchase-based segmentation and revenue attribution.

Who owns the customer data?

You do. Each client runs a dedicated database, and every list and report exports to spreadsheet in one click. On the Enterprise plan you can host the whole thing on your own server.

Do you support Tamil or other Indian languages?

Yes. Message content is free text, so campaigns can go out in Tamil, Hindi or any language your customers read. WhatsApp templates are submitted to Meta in the language you write them in.

Compliance & deliverability

Is bulk WhatsApp marketing legal?

On the official WhatsApp Business Platform, with pre-approved message templates and honoured opt-outs, yes — that is exactly the use case Meta built it for. What gets numbers banned is unofficial gateways and ignoring STOP requests, neither of which aiever does.

How are opt-outs handled?

A customer replying STOP is captured by the WhatsApp webhook and logged permanently in the opt-out register. Email unsubscribes and hard bounces are recorded the same way. Every campaign filters against that register before dispatch, in every module, with no way to switch it off.

Do we need DLT registration for SMS?

For SMS to Indian numbers, yes — that is a TRAI requirement, not an aiever one. aiever stores your registered sender IDs and DLT template IDs against each gateway so the correct one is used on every send.

Will sending to a large list get our number flagged?

Dispatch is chunked at fifty recipients with a pacing delay and runs through a queue rather than a tight loop. Combined with approved templates and enforced opt-outs, that is the pattern the platforms expect.

Technical & integration

What does the integration actually involve?

One authenticated HTTP POST from your billing screen with the mobile number, name, bill number, amount and optionally the line items. aiever handles the rest — customer upsert, purchase record, loyalty points, tier recalculation and the thank-you message.

Can our billing counter see a customer’s points?

Yes. GET /api/v1/customers/{mobile}/loyalty returns the live balance and tier. Most billing systems can call this and show it on the bill screen so redemption takes seconds.

What happens when a bill is cancelled or returned?

Post the reversal to the same integration. aiever claws back the points and reduces the recorded purchase amount, so lifetime value and tier eligibility stay correct. Removing only the points would quietly corrupt both.

Can we host it on our own infrastructure?

On the Enterprise plan, yes. It is a standard Laravel 12, MySQL and Redis stack — nothing exotic, and any competent Laravel developer can operate it.

Is there an API we can build against?

Yes. Inbound webhooks for billing, orders and stock, and outbound endpoints for loyalty lookup, voucher validation and dashboard summary. Everything is versioned under /api/v1 and authenticated per integration source.

Pricing & commercials

Is there a contract lock-in?

Plans run monthly or annually. Annual billing carries a discount, but you are not locked into a multi-year term to get a working product.

Do you charge per message?

No. Message costs go directly to Meta for WhatsApp, or to your SMS provider, at their rates. We do not sit in the middle and mark them up.

What does setup include?

Instance provisioning, WhatsApp Business API connection, gateway configuration, importing your existing customer list, loyalty rule configuration and training your team.

Can we start with only WhatsApp and loyalty?

Yes. Modules are toggleable. Switch off what you are not using and the navigation, and the API, hide it entirely.

Can we host it on our own server?

On the Enterprise plan, yes. aiever runs on a standard Laravel and MySQL stack and can be deployed to infrastructure you control.

What if we already have a POS we like?

Keep it. aiever is designed to connect to your existing billing rather than replace it. If it can call a webhook, it can feed aiever.

Still not sure it fits?

Thirty minutes on a call will tell you more than any page here. Worst case, we tell you it is not a fit and you have lost half an hour.
